George: We went to the AHS graduation together; I worked at your dad's restaurant; there were spirited times in Gloucester & Boston; you were in my wedding; you had common sense--more than most of us; there wasn't a weight you couldn't lift, nor a moment that didn't conjure a laugh; a great guy and a friend. RIP Slages. Dick McKenney
tribute by Richard McKenneyGeorge was a very close friend whom I met at AHS after he transferred his senior year from Lawrence Academy. We kept in touch over the years even after he moved to Texas in the 70's. I will always miss the fun trips to the Gloucester beaches in his Corvettes and the fun times we had in Boston in the late 60's. My condolences go out to George's family. You will be missed. RIP my friend. John Morse
