Marie L. Cullen, 78, died on November 10, 2020 at Westerly Hospital. She was born in Arlington, MA to William A. and Edith (Chester) Libby.

For fifty-four years Marie was the beloved wife of the late Henry J. “Hank” Cullen Sr., Lt. Boston Fire Department.



Marie was a strong woman with a generous heart. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending lots of

time with her family at the lake, having barbecues, and just sitting around talking together.



Mom had a full life. She got to travel and enjoy seeing many parts of this beautiful land with Dad and different family members. She was also full of life too.

She enjoyed each grandchild as they came along, spending as much time with them painting, swimming, laughing together and “spoiling them” as a

Nana does! She loved them all so very much!!



Marie’s home was warm and welcoming with the many plants she had and plenty of seating for all her friends that would stop by at any time - smiling and

welcomed by mom to come in and sit and have tea and talk.



Marie will be remembered most for her heartfelt faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She would share the hope found in the Bible about a better future

soon to come with everyone who came to visit. She is dearly missed and will always be in our hearts and memories.



She is survived by four children: Michael, Edith, Henry and Mary; seven grandchildren: Joshua and Daniel, and Joshua’s wife Tara, Mikayla and Ryan

and Mikayla’s husband Tyler, and Myles, Bernie and Bridget and Bridget’s husband Rene, and two great-grandchildren Isla and Asher. She is also

survived by her brother, James Libby of Maryland and was predeceased by two brothers John Libby and William Libby.
