George A. Robinson
1942-07-25 2025-09-25I just recently learned of George's passing. George (aka Mike) was a special friend and one of our group of guys that through our teenage years did a lot fishing, hunting and loved being in the woods together. He was the archer in our group and very good at it. While George had personal difficulty during much of his adult life, whenever I had contact with him throughout those years (personally at our 50th reunion or by phone in the last several years) he was always the kind, thoughtful and inquiring man he always was. He was very skilled at computer operation and loved his music. I will always have fond memories of our times together. After AHS George served in the Marine Corps. He is interned at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. For George's service to our country and to all Veterans I say "Thank You For Our Freedom".

Dear George (the tall, lanky kid who was nicknamed “Iron Mike” when he joined the Marines after high school) …
You were a cultural intellect with a corny sense of humor. I will miss both sides of you.
