George Edward Ducharme, Jr.
1942-03-23 1988-02-05George and I were the best of friends. We both llived in the 100 block of Brattle Street. "The Hill" to residents. I still have a picture of the two of us, at or about age 4, wearing (those dreaded) snow suits and up to our waists in the white stuff. We were the same age and went through Cutter, JHW and AHS together. While we inevitably drifted apart as I moved around the country, I can say that my life has been the better for having known George.
tribute by Jack FarrenA tribute to my twin brother, George Edward Ducharme Excerpts from the "Desiderata" by Max Ehrmann: "Be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars and, whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should". "Take kindly to the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth..... Nurture strength of spirit".
