Elaine and I became friends at the West through CYO softball.  We lost contact until the first renovations to the JHW where I was teaching.  Her sister became our school secretary and Elaine came to see her.  We renewed our friendship and expanded it.  I miss her everyday.  I will always remember her wearing hats as an adult to weddings (mine was one), christenings and funerals.  She loved life and is missed.
