Hagopian and his wife Frances of Woburn and Carol Gardner and her husband Bernard of Arlington. Longtime companion of Barbara Johnson of Arlington. Loving uncle of Michael and Mark Hagopian and Bernard and Andrew Gardner. Nephew of Ashod D. Hagopian of Winchester and the late Armine D. Hagopian, Aram D. Hagopian and Mary Albertassi. Also survived by several loving cousins. Services at Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 145 Brattle St., Cambridge on Thursday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Giragosian Funeral Home, 576 Mt. Auburn St., (Rt. 16) Watertown on Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorial contributions may be made in George’s memory to Holy Trinity Armenian Church. Devoted member of Holy Trinity Armenian Church serving in several capacities as Parish Council Member, Treasurer, Diocesan Delegate and honored as a past parishioner of the year. A career of over 45 years at the American Automobile Assoc. (AAA) as director of membership services. Member of Charity Lodge A.F. & A. M. of Cambridge and Knights of Vartan Ararat Lodge #1.
