She graduated from Arlington (MA) High School, Class of 1960.
Mrs. Luongo had been employed by Varian Corp. in Lexington, MA over 25 years retiring as a customer service supervisor in 2000.
Carol was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Billerica and was a volunteer and ran their thrift shop. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and loved her pets.
The family includes: her husband, Richard J. Luongo of Chatham; three daughters, Karen M. Hundt and her husband William of Hartfield, VA, Marsha D. Schreib of Lowell, MA and Monica J. Roderick of Billerica, MA; a son, James R. Luongo of Stow, ME; nine grandchildren, David Gordon, Richard Gordon, Nicholas Schreib, Kenneth Schreib, Alexia Luongo, Thomas Luongo, Stephen Luongo, Makensie Roderick and Jordyn Roderick; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Spring and Kyleigh Spring and a sister, Judith Graham of Florida.
LUONGO -- A memorial service will be held Sunday June 5, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the North Fryeburg Community Chapel in North Fryeburg, Maine.
